Overall feeling of Well-Being

            In 2010, the Royal Philips Electronics conducted a survey on the health and well-being of the Filipino people with 1,007 samples from 18 – 65 years old. In general, the survey showed that 54 % rated their health and well-being as very good. This rate however decreased with age.

The Government and You

For 2014 the Philippine government has approved 4, 228.40 billion or 9.90 % of its national budget for health. This is higher than  2013’s allotted budget, hopefully it will contribute in the health aspects of the common settlers.

Would you say that getting sick now is normal? Of course not. Sickness, disease or illness means disequilibrium. Everyday, without our conscious control, our immune system fights to keep our body healthy. We too must consciously fight and reinforce our body’s defenses by eating the right food, proper exercise and harnessing a positive outlook in life. Thus, every healthy Filipino would mean a healthy Philippines.
